KANASHIMI

I don't even know that myself, but let's give it a try! XD
Over here I'm known as 'the weird alien person' because I wear clothes based on jrock/oshare-kei... actually I wear many different styles. Sometimes I'm a little bit 'gothic', sometimes very 'Japanese' and when I feel like it I wear 'normal clothes'.
So, for the people here, I'm an alien. But I live in a very small village so they aren't used to things from outside Holland. o_O;;
And -you already noticed that I guess- I'm a hudge Japan-fan! I love the culture, the language (I don't speak it myself though... not yet) and the music, clothing and art! And I also like reading/writing (yaoi)fanfics. XD
I like the Korean and Chinese culture as well. ^___^
My favourite bands/artists? Let's see...:
Gazette, Kagrra, Dir en Grey, alice nine, hide, Hyde, L'arc~en~ciel, X Japan, LM.C, Ayabie, etc.
Do I like non-Japanese bands? YEAH... but mostly bands from the 60's/70's/80's (I was obsessed with that, like, 2 years ago XD).
So I mean bands/artists like: Elvis Presley, Cheap Trick, ELO, Guns 'n' Roses, The Jackson 5, The Eagles, KC and the Sunshine Band. But also bands that make relaxed music like Gorillaz, Cansei de Ser Sexy or Blind Melon. O, and I like Korean (boy)bands as well. Like Seo Taiji (& Boys), TRAX, Super Junior or DBSK. ^____^
Favourite painters? I don't really know (baaaaad me! xD).
I like Chiho Aoshima's and Aya Takano's work very much. I also like (very) old paintings and other historical stuff, like castles or... well, you know what I mean I guess. xD
I also paint myself. :D Not real artworks or something. I mean little doodles like chibis, manga figures and or just funny creatures (which mostly. I also have a little collection of 'Little Maids' (that's how I called them XD) ...I'll maybe post them on my journal some time.
Important question: why did I call myself 'kanashimigirl'??
I don't know. It's not because I'm a sad, unhappy person. I'm not really depressive and stuff. So it's... meant to be funny. xD Hopefully I'm the opposite of 'kanashimi'. :P
